Adelphi Kitchens produces two distinct types of cabinetry – Framed and Frameless.

Our framed cabinetry is sold under the Adelphi brand name. We use the traditional American construction method that features true Mortise & Tenon construction and flush-finished furniture ends.

These cabinets are made to the customers’ specifications in 1/8″ increments. Built for durability, they have 3/4″ solid wood front frames and all-plywood sides, tops and bottoms.

In the framed cabinets, there are five different door overlays to choose from:

  • Beaded Inset
  • Flush Inset
  • Standard Offset
  • Marginal Overlay
  • Full Overlay

Adelphi’s frameless cabinetry is represented by the Ridgewood, Whitebrier, and Woodbrier brands. The frameless style uses the European 32-millimeter construction method. Cabinet doors feature full overlays and concealed hinges.

  • Ridgewood cabinets are made of all plywood and have 3/4” sides, tops and bottoms.
  • Whitebrier and Woodbrier cabinets have a wood-grained melamine interior. They are available in several choices of wood exteriors.

All Adelphi cabinet styles feature a true dovetailed 5/8” solid maple drawer box. All drawers have full-extension undermount glides. Drawers are soft-close and self-closing, utilizing a metal-ball bearing slide mechanism. Shelves are adjustable in increments of a little more than an inch, and are made of a strong, birch-veneered particleboard core, which significantly reduces sagging.

We finish all our cabinets with high-solids conversion varnishes that provide durable, mar-resistant protection and will maintain the beauty of your cabinets for years. Stains are available in a variety of colors. To accentuate the natural grain of the wood, stains and varnishes are always hand-applied.
