Brier Cabinetry Lines

The Brier lines—Woodbrier, Whitebrier, and Brier Select—are European-style frameless cabinetry collections made with engineered wood cores and exterior veneers. The boxes are made from 3/4″ CARB II compliant core material with melamine applied; a variety of different door styles and materials are available.

Frameless cabinetry

The frameless full overlay manufacturing style has the doors and drawers lying almost completely over the edge of the cabinet. The entire edge profile and 3/4″ thickness is visible. Door and drawer sizes are not based on the cabinet opening, but rather on using “reveals” all around the cabinet box. The fronts of the boxes are edgebanded or veneered.

At the top of wall cabinets, there is a 2mm reveal and 6mm at the top of base cabinets. At the bottom, left, and right sides of walls and bases, there is also a 2mm reveal.

Engineered frameless cabinetry

Woodbrier, Whitebrier, and Brier Select cabinet boxes are all assembled in the European style with dowels and glue. Interiors are natural birch by default, but can be upgraded at your discretion for an additional charge.

The Whitebrier box is used for our Euro-Contemporary lines, with five laminate-finished doors and Level acrylics.

Finishes

Euro-Contemporary finishes come in a wide variety of matte colors, textures, wood grains, and gloss levels. Manufactured from PVC, these laminate membranes have consistent coloration, finish, and surface quality from edge to edge.

Level doors are flat laminated with a variety of edgebanding options. High-gloss acrylic components feature a colored layer of ABS—an ecologically responsible, impact-resistant thermoplastic—that is permanently fused with a clear acrylic top layer.

Brier Select doors use a mix of white hardwoods, such as birch and maple, to achieve unique character with special consideration given to both price and quality. Available doors are Atlantis (slab), Heritage (5-piece raised panel), and Legacy I (5-piece flat panel), with slab drawers as default. Heritage and Legacy five-piece drawers are available as an upgrade.

Finishes

Brier Select cabinets are limited to four hand-wiped stains and a small selection of full-cover finishes. Other configurations or colors will be upgraded to Woodbrier.
