In 1946, Adelphi Kitchens began as many small businesses do: in a garage, located behind the Yatron family residence in Reading, Pennsylvania. Originally named Yatron Brothers, all four brothers—Paul, Nicholas, Harry, and Stratton—were soon involved in the business. Their workspace served as a factory, sales room, and warehouse. By 1950, Yatron Brothers included not only the four partners, but five employees as well.
Today, Adelphi has a nationwide network of nearly 250 dealers, some who have been customers since the late 1950s. With more than 70 years of experience producing fine cabinetry, the Robesonia factory produces sixty kitchens a week with a workforce of around eighty people.
